babaà knitwear, have you any wool? Yessir, and it’s all ethical! After designing womenswear for a major fashion house in Argentina, Marta Bahillo returned to her home country of Spain to create babaà in 2012. The quintessential chunky knitted jumpers and cardigans are winter wardrobe staples, and you can rest assured their production processes are squeaky clean – only happy sheep here. Made of all natural cotton, cashmere, wool, and alpaca, each piece is durable and timeless. babaà even claims that if you look after them properly, your knit will last forever! Extra chunky points go to their European fabric dying factory, which uses dyes that are GOTS certified, saves up to 60% in water usage, and doesn’t discard anything toxic that could contaminate the environment. Their collections fit the whole family, and kiddies can emulate Norweigian fishermen in stripes, natural greys and beiges, or be bold and bright in colour-block merino wool separates. Babaautiful!
